Corridor for the Stars

everything definite makes the infinite more divine

an installation for a darkened room, 1980

"In June 1979 I stood on a small coral island in the Indian Ocean. All around me was a halo of light. The light spilled away from me down into the shallows of sea and off into the depths of ocean; and upwards among clouds into depths of sky. Ringed as I was with light I became aware of the universe towering above and below me. I stood like a corridor for the stars."

Remember that your compass is a magnet; the lanes and lightways of Paradise reach to you.
